immersive interactive installation

Us is an immersive interactive installation combining crochet, embroidery, sound, multi-screens, and projection to create a space where viewers become active participants. The viewers are invited to interact with objects, physical and digital landscape using multiple senses; seeing, listening, touching, and moving body.

Handcrafted elements, such as crochet and embroidery, form organic, textured sculptures that evoke natural ecosystems, while digital screens and projections expand the environment into a virtual realm. Floating bubbles symbolize the fleeting, ever-changing nature of life, reflecting themes of impermanence and interconnectedness. Through camera sensors, viewers become part of the installation, with their movements triggering digital bubbles to appear and move around.

The goal of Us is to challenge and question where our focus lies when we find ourselves in the blurred space between the physical and digital worlds in today's technology-driven environment. It invites viewers to consider how these blurred lines influence our understanding of reality and our relationship with the world around us, while exploring how technology shapes our interactions, perceptions, imagination, and sense of presence.
